Questions
Is this the official HSK textbook?
No. HanziNest is an independent publisher. The course follows the 300-word HSK 1 list and prepares you for the exam, but it is not affiliated with or endorsed by any HSK authority.
Does it follow the new HSK 3.0?
Yes. All 300 words of the revised Level 1 list are taught. Words that were on the older HSK 2.0 list are marked, so it also works if your test centre still uses HSK 2.0.
I have never studied Chinese. Is it for me?
Yes. It starts with pinyin and the four tones and assumes no knowledge at all. Explanations are in English.
How do I receive the files?
Right after payment you get a download page for the PDF and the MP3 pack. The link is also sent to your email, and you can download again later.
Can I print it?
Yes, printing for your own study is allowed. The book is A4 and includes a handwriting grid you can print as often as you like.
